Hi!
If you boil it down I am extremely passionate about two things: working on sustainable food solutions and teaching every day people how to set themselves up for amazing longevity. I combine years of experience as a chef and nutritionist with a deep interest in personal growth, creativity, technology and sport. I’m driven to bridge taste, texture, nutrition and lifestyle into a formula for succes — for everybody.
This is my story..
Food has been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a household where cooking mattered. Both of my parents were passionate and talented home cooks, and my mother also worked as a cook in small kitchens throughout her life. My father was the king of classical Italian cuisine, effortlessly working with every cut of meat and fish, while my mother is still unmatched when it comes to soups, salads, and Indonesian-style dishes.
Although I was surrounded by food from an early age, I initially took a different path. I completed a bachelor’s degree in Product Design Engineering and spent six years working in sales. Eventually, the desire to travel took over — and it was during those travels that something became very clear: I needed to work with food.
From that point on, everything fell into place. I worked my way up through professional kitchens, learning technique, structure, and creativity. Alongside that, I spent time working as a sourdough baker, deepening my appreciation for fermentation and craftmanship. Over time, my curiosity shifted from how food tastes to how it affects the body. That curiosity led me to study Nutrition and Health at Wageningen University. One thing led to another, and today I combine these worlds — using both my culinary background and nutritional science to inspire and guide others to make changes they’ve been wanting (or needing) to make, in a way that actually fits their lives.
